Cyber Safety Pact

I understand that the Internet is a privilege and a right. The following Cyber Safety Pact explains that I am responsible for my Internet actions and that proper Internet use is my privilege to lose but my right to keep.

*  I Agree to "Think Before I Click"

*  I Agree to search, stumble, play, work and chat safely whenever I connect

*  I Agree to be monitored while I am using the Internet

*  I Agree to always use a Firewall

*  I Agree to never meet anyone in person that I have met online

*  I Agree to never show my real information to my online "friends" (name, number, address, passwords)

*  I Agree to wait until I am 13 years old before I sign up for a Social Network (ie, Facebook, MySpace, Bebo)

*  I Agree to ask for help when I am in a need of it. If I am being pressured or being put down by others, I promise to report it.

*  I Agree to use the Internet and teach others to be safe online
